Claim procedure for Exported tyres
1.Following documents are needed when a claim is proposed:
A.Using condition: including vehicle type, pressure, load, road surface condition, temperature, speed and transportation distance.
B.Tyre using time after installing, time of damage, mileage and remaining tread depth (checking position: 1/4 position of the tread).
C.Photoes: clearing showing brand, manufacturer’s name, size and serial number, problem part, tread depth remained. These photos are needed for each claimed tyre.
2.Compensation standard:
A.The claim tyre will not be compensated if the tread depth remained is below 50%.
B.The compensation will be calculated according to the tread depth remained, for example: remaining 60% tread, 60% X tyre price (tyre price will be the price of last month, if there is no contract shipped last month, the price will be according to last contract’s price). For Radial truck tyre and bias truck tyre, if the tread weared is within 2mm (including 2mm), the compensation will be 100% of a new tyre if the claim is due to the manufacturer’s fault.
3.Procedure:
A.Customer need to propose the claims before 10th of each month.
B.Claimed files will be transferred to quality department from Imp& Exp department, and the decision right is on quality department’s side.
C.If the quality department agree to compensate, the compensation amount will be deducted from new order contract.
D.This procedure will start from Apr.1 2006.
E.Detailed compensation standard will be according to Aeolus tyre quality department’s claim standard.
